If you don’t already know, dental benefits expire on December 31 of each year. This means that whether or not you have met your dental insurance deductible, everything you or your employer has contributed may expire and reset. Most people don't know that dental benefits expire at the end of the year or forget to use them, letting hundreds of dollars go to waste.
Some people also skip the dentist because they think they can’t afford it or have skewed conceptions. If you postpone or skip dentist visits, serious problems may develop, resulting in more costly visits. Did you know that many dental insurances cover two routine dental cleanings and exams each year?
